Hi out there!
Last year I spoiled myself and bought a PX410 Privia Casio digital piano.Pricewise this model suited my budget but I was sceptical buying it not knowing what Casio's range of digital pianos sounded like. I took a blind leap of faith buying it and I'm totally impressed by the instrument! Just curious how everyone else is finding it? I think it would be nice to share stories and advice in a forum regarding this instrument.

I enjoy the real old music so I use a lot of the ballroom auto accompaniments - I'm quite taken with the beguine and foxtrot. The country rhythms are also quite impressive! There are a lot of organ sounds which are also rather impressive, as are some of the guitars.

I'd like to hear from someone else who owns one. Please write!

Casio Privia PX410. Play by ear (intermediate)

Hi Shelley. My name is Marina and I have one as well. I'm very happy with mine, although I don't know how to use it to its full potential (yet). I play it very much like an ordinary piano, only with rhythms and I change the tones (layering). I make myself completely sick when I listen to downloaded Midi's -wow! they can.

I bet you are such an expert by now.

Sorry for my English (I'm Afrikaans speaking).

Hear you soon. (I can't even "work" these forums properly).
