OK Im just doing a short post on this subject but please give feedback and questions here by replying with more questions.

A good place to start with keyboards is playing written solo riffs for blues .
but the best way to do that is first play  a few of the rock songs here in the rock category.
The solos in them  are basically mostly in C pentatonic minor .
Once you know the scales that way very well very well improvising in those case gets easier..Smiley

but think I should post some more blues sheet music here too.  thing is blues is FAR the easiest way to learn to make your won solos because
1) Its slow
2) It needs less notes ( 5 can go a long way) C Eb F G Bb  is the scale commonly used to start over chords C7 F7 G7

I can post more but let me know Who would enjoy blues ?

Its also nice for 2 handed easy piano arrnagements, ive written a few already so let me know ( I really try to put up the stuff according to interest as converting it to PDF with sound files takes a little while )

Later Mike
