WOODWIND BRASS GUITAR STRINGS KEYBOARDS DRUMS

TO DOWNLOAD VB free you must be paid purchaser or subscriber . Paid purchasers or subscribers can download this program here

Others cannot access this section as you will not have the correct permissions for secure forum sections

1) Using the V B  softare MIDI files can be played back seeing exactly which intruments are playing on each track and enabling you to mute  tracks youd like to play yourself  following  the solo part you wish - So if a flute player playing back a mozart flute and string quartet piece , you could mute the flute part and play along with the string quartet --- really fun ..not only that but also control the tempo and SLOW down for practise with metronome controls

using other software on the forum here[ you could print out the solo art from the same midi file

KEYBOARDS DIGITAL PIANOS

2) These you just load into V B  player and watch the black and white keys of his virtual piano light up as the music plays
See more below about how to install it

3) They can  play through any keyboard either through the disk drive or a midi connection kit. ( connecting your keyboard from a midi game port to midi in on the keyboard) Many other keyboard should alos be able to transfer them without conversin to USER memory or just play through them

4) Be converted to .cm2 song files for casio ( step lesson files ) see more below

5) van Basco player also has karaoke function. The Lyrics of the Midi file are alsodispayed in moving time in large letters

Download V B  virtual keyboard Player / midi search software and playback music sequencer Click on  the download_vanbasco_casioSMF.doc document file attached at the green background on this post.

The Pic below  is Raindrops playing ( see the left and right hands as two seperate notes, at different parts in the song. Isnt that great ! Your own Virtual keyboard, even without the casio lighting. The only advanatage ( which yes is great ) of the lighting keyboards is that they actaully stop and wait for you to play the note before moving on if you set them to. But still Van Basco did those with normal keyboards a big favour , as well as pianists.

Here is a picture of a moment in time as the raindrops.mid file attached below plays through Van Bascos Virtual keyboard

V B  Midi Player With Virtual Keyboard (for .MID files)

Leave all the ticked boxes when you install V B player if you want all midi files to immediately open in irs Virtual Piano software

Once youve downloaded V B  Player from the attachment below( Register free to get access to download attachments on this board) , look for the small control button on it saying "piano" once its installed. Play all .MID files in this player to see the virtual piano keys move according to the notes, whether you play them through a keyboard or just use them for guidance on piano. See more below about how to install it

DRUMS
Remember all drum tracks are ALWAYS midi channel 10 . so to mute the drums so you can play -- mute channel 10 and then play yuor own drums with the rest of the band instead ( Drum section opening soon)

So long also access the WOODWIND and BRASS  section

WOODWINDS BRASS STRINGS GUITAR
See the WOODWIND and BRASS  section for more help on how to use midi sequncer for playing along with MIDI FILES - printing MIDI SHEET MUSIC from 1000s of free files etc...or the GUITAR section here for the same (string section opening soon )

WHERE ELSE CAN ACCESS MIDI  FILES ESPECIALLY SUITED TO MY INSTRUMENT ON THE NET ?

To download songs from the internet -- there are some sites Ive collected for purchasers ( ALL INSTRUMENTS) [iurl=http://ezmusic4u.com/smf/index.php/topic,128.0.html]here
whose sites are far better than others ( in other words the midi files are arranged properly on track 4 and 3 midi in format 0 and not to many other tracks going at once  like many free band midis which will light up the keyboards too much playing all 16 tracks at once sometimes   ..and one can download free  midi songs with the software van basco below too -- but again the free midi songs on net are rarely suitable  except classical piano pieces easy to play so unless youre a more advanced musican  ( not many beginner ones are arranged for free though )   and the free band ones are not the best to try and play or convert to step lessons as they have too many tracks going simultaneously.

Always keep it simple - one thing at a time - we arent as intelligent as like to think we are but thats the fun L:)
