Scales are thought of as boring . But they are used all the time in music . The only thing is they usually go up and down and change directions,  or skip notes jumping from one note after another .

Listen To the same 7 notes ( scale)played over 3 styles, Dance  Tek, a similar rhythm and blues style to  Clapton and 3rd to similar to  Blink 182 Click on the tekclaptonblink.mid Midi attachment below and hear it . If you use the Van Basco Virtual piano you will  see .mid attachment below play on channel 4 and Van Bascos virtual white and black notes piano. You will also see the notes on the music staf highlighted for the whole band Noteworthy Viewer

Ive kept the scale simple but will change it the next variation to show you how just changing the rhythm of that simple scale makes in more interesting and start tyo resemble a real solo in music
